High Pressure TGA - Rubotherm DynTHERM Series
In addition to the standard pressure Rubotherm TGA systems (vacuum to atmospheric pressure) Rubotherm's DynTHERM HP instruments are the ideal tool for TG measurements at high pressures.

As usual for Rubotherm instruments corrosive atmospheres and vapours are no problem - with no need for inert balance purge gas etc. This is further enhanced by the unique cold wall reactor design. The reaction atmosphere is only in contact with corrosion resistant ceramic materials in the high temperature zone of the reactor. The DynTHERM HP analysers may be equipped with gas and vapour mixing and dosing systems and pressure controller for maintaining the high pressure in the instrument. Gas sampling for external analysis in GC or MS can be provided too.

Main applications of the DynTHERM HP instruments are:
- Coal and biomass gasification
- Pyrolysis studies (chemical decomposition of condensed substances by heating)
- Corrosion studies of metals
- Getter materials testing (e.g. O2 or H2 getters) (Getters are reactive materials used for removing traces of gas from vacuum systems)
