We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Altimet supplying their range of surface metrology solutions in the UK for materials characterisation/surface measurement for a wide range of applications.
Altimet have been involved in surface measurement for nearly 20 years, originally developing their systems for the demands of the Swiss watch market. Based near Lake Geneva Altimet have developed a wide range of systems designed to meet the flexibility and precision required by today's market worldwide.
The instruments are designed in a modular way to allow the use of a range of sensors for 3D high resolution profilometry. These sensors include point and line confocal chromatic sensors, interferometric, mechanical stylus, CCD sensors, lasers and other devices required for a range of applications.
Due to our wide range of sensors and PheNix electronics and software we believe we can measure almost all types of surfaces to the highest resolution. Measurements are insensitive to colour and surface optical properties so we can even measure products through glass and other glossy transparent surfaces.
Instruments are available for laboratory use and also as portable systems for analysis online or in the field (e.g. corrosion at Oil and Gas industry sites).
